The 2006 Inaugural Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health Symposium May 6th, 2006 Doubletree Hotel Santa Monica 7107 Fourth Street Santa Monica, California 90401 The first symposium sponsored by the Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health at Childrens Hospital is dedicated to bringing innovative, patient-centered maternal and fetal care to Los Angeles, surrounding communities, and Southern California. The Institute's mission is to improve maternal and fetal health outcomes and quality of life for families through integrated, multidisciplinary health care in an atmosphere of compassion and respect. This symposium will include a range of topics on state-of-the-art perinatal and postnatal care, evidence-based best practice standards, fetal therapy, as well as future trends in perinatal and neonatal medicine.
